Please chat with me in class or email me ShannaDuvall@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out this weekend. Saturday’s work schedule will be Noon til 4:00 and Sunday 9am-1pm. We are looking for 10 people each day. We will be painting walls, staining/painting wall ball targets, reorganizing, hanging shelves for notebooks, pulling up carpet/matting, putting down black floor mats, retapping and re-anchoring Blue Steel, etc.
If anyone wants to loan/donate any of the following please drop it off at the gym prior to Friday when I will go shopping for needed supplies.
Push broom, utility knife/blades, mop/bucket, painting supplies, sandpaper/sanders, saw horses, power screwdriver. If you do loan something please ensure your name is taped to the item to avoid later confusion.
Thanks!

We have all of those supplies you can use. But what grit sandpaper? I do not think I can volunteer though because we are working this weekend.

Loved this one. I can finally feel my forearms again, haha. First time using the 35# KB in a WOD. That was fun…and heavy.
Sh!t slides downhill, right sean?
I believe Sunday will largely be cutting, placing, and measuring the flooring… probably in that order.
A shout out to Mr. “I’m not going, that looks easy”. You’re only allowed to say it’s “easy” when you do the most reps with the heaviest load.
if how long i laid on the floor is any indication of how easy it was for me it was the hardest thing i have done in quite awhile – i laid on the floor panting for a good bit. Corey your comments tonight are cracking me up especially the measuring after the floor is laid!
Yeah, that was pretty “easy”.
