Please chat with me in class or email me ShannaDuvall@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out this weekend.  Saturday’s work schedule will be Noon til 4:00 and Sunday 9am-1pm.  We are looking for 10 people each day.  We will be painting walls, staining/painting wall ball targets, reorganizing, hanging shelves for notebooks, pulling up carpet/matting, putting down black floor mats, retapping and re-anchoring Blue Steel, etc.

If anyone wants to loan/donate any of the following please drop it off at the gym prior to Friday when I will go shopping for needed supplies.

Push broom, utility knife/blades, mop/bucket, painting supplies, sandpaper/sanders, saw horses, power screwdriver.  If you do loan something please ensure your name is taped to the item to avoid later confusion.

Thanks!

  • We have all of those supplies you can use. But what grit sandpaper? I do not think I can volunteer though because we are working this weekend.

Loved this one. I can finally feel my forearms again, haha. First time using the 35# KB in a WOD. That was fun…and heavy.

  • Sh!t slides downhill, right sean?

I believe Sunday will largely be cutting, placing, and measuring the flooring… probably in that order.

  • A shout out to Mr. “I’m not going, that looks easy”. You’re only allowed to say it’s “easy” when you do the most reps with the heaviest load.

  • elizabeth Hake

if how long i laid on the floor is any indication of how easy it was for me it was the hardest thing i have done in quite awhile – i laid on the floor panting for a good bit. Corey your comments tonight are cracking me up especially the measuring after the floor is laid!

  • Katie
