Hey all! Feeling like I have the flu so I am gonna take a rest day!

  • T-Bone

And, Shanna maintains the freaky mental connection she has with me…Lauren and I just discussed this WOD in the car on the way home from Georgia last night! Sorry to miss it, but I definitely need a rest day after the Garage Games. Final ranking was 17 out of 29 with my best event being the 7k trail run…11th, hahaha. Quote from my workout log from June 23 “Like this morning…after being up since 3:30 am with the kids, going to the affiliate at 6:00 am, and thinking the whole way there ‘please don’t let there be a run, please don’t let there be a run…’ only to see that we are doing a WOD with three 400m runs, knowing that I am going to be dead last in the runs…and then deciding that I don’t give a crap…” Hahaha. See, guys, if I can manage to become halfway decent at running because of CrossFit, ANYONE can.

  • Great work T-Bone!
Thank you to all who came out or supported the efforts of Heartstrings 2010! Everyone of you made a difference. I cannot thank you all enough!

  • Oh man. I was there. That’s what I say. I didn’t do the same WOD, and went ridiculously light on the KB swings, so I didn’t put my numbers up. But I was there and I am so thankful to you all for being who you are.

  • T-Bone

Welcome back, Matt! That must be the shortest recovery ever. Now, fix the leg so we can run :) .

  • anna
