100309 Tuesday “A Moment in Time”

Katie pulling her way toward a 5th place finish in the first two events and earning a regional qualifying spot at this past weekend's NC/SC sectional!
Strength/Skill Work: Push Jerk
WOD
In 3 minutes complete the following:
400m run
Immediately followed by max rep clean and jerks
1 minute rest.
Repeat for 3 total rounds.
For the clean and jerk use 75% of today’s push jerk weight not to exceed 135lbs/95lbs.







Awww, this is my third favorite WOD of all time. And, you couldn’t pay me a million dollars to do it today, haha. Have fun with it, guys!

i contemplated coming in today bc my quad dominant legs are starting to feel better….and then i realized that was a bad, bad idea.

Tom, the socks totally saved me. I was one of the few athletes without bloody legs after the rope climb due to my sweet socks.
Did my first “Helen” today. Modified with 400m row instead of run and purple resistance band on pull-ups. 17:21 OUCH! The pull-ups kicked my a$$, but they’re getting better–definitely the rate limiting factor in this WOD!!
Knee socks are cool, gotta get some of those!
