Push press + double unders = happiness. 6:00 am, sorry to miss you guys. I know you’re going through withdrawl. Brian has an early meeting, and the 10:00 am class will have the pleasure of my company today.

  • T-Bone

That really, really hurt. A lot. As in, I considered puking after it was over hurt. It might make my top 5 favorite WOD list. And, not to name names or anything (Mike Peterson), but you are not getting a “raw deal” by having to do 90 single unders instead of only 30 double unders. Double unders are not “easier” than single unders. If they were easier, you would be able to do double unders, now wouldn’t you? Just sayin’ :) .

Amen, tbone. I think a 3 to one ratio is pretty fair. Especially when you are going through the learning curve. Coach Daniel mentioned an equal substitution would be tuck jumps if you can’t do double unders. That sounds brutal. Great wod today.

  • T-Bone

Yeah, doing tuck jumps as a sub would pretty much blow. My hamstrings are super pissed off at me right now.

Can we work on DUs as a strength/skill one day? I think I need some coach assistance.

  • I was really glad to be back with my 7 a.m. buddies today. Y’all are encouraging and fun (as usual). Thanks for the warm welcome back to me and the CFer in the making. :-)

I just have to give a big shout out to Kimberly for killing it today. 7 plus rounds at 55 pounds is very impressive. I only wish I had been there to see it.
