I have a whole new level of respect for what Shanna did at the regionals in May. Absolutely amazing woman!

  • Aidan

    you can say that again!

I have no clue if I wrote my time down correctly. Today was the first workout that I ever felt, a) like I might puke, and b) delirious afterwards.

Thanks to Daniel for being a positive force for me.

J$, it was pretty freaking amazing to see, was it not?

Guys, in case you don’t realize this, Shanna not only took first place in this WOD at Regionals, but she also took fourth and fifth place in two of the other WODs. Three top 5 finishes out of five WODs. The Southeast Region sent 4 women to the Games, and Shanna beat all of them in this WOD. I know she won’t brag on herself, so I’ll do it for her.

I really don’t want to miss this but family comes first. This looks like a great WOD!

Put an asterisk beside my time today. I only put the bar down once between the snatches and presses. I didn’t see that until now. Oops.

I love the picture you posted today. Corey striking a pose but look at Dan’s face. There is no “relaxing the face” there.

Those crafty little squat snatches are harder than they look. Toward the end of that WOD I felt like I was simultaneously holding a house above my head while delivering a 28 lb. child.
