Hi Corey and Shanna, I’m confused. I see that we are supposed to be working toward a 5 rep deadlift max (and recently all the other lifts you are asking for 5 rep max) but many folks listed 1 rep or 3 rep, etc. Can you elaborate on what you are looking for us to do? I thought I heard you say you were taking a different approach to max reps. Please clarify.
Nice Deadlift DT!
oops, i wrote down ari’s deadlift weight incorrectly…he actually did 145!

Congrats to Brian C for completing his first wod with DUs. You almost got by without public accolades.
Miriam, In short anyone who put something OTHER than 5 reps did not listen to us. I have a thorough explanation coming in a post soon. Find a 5 rep max, have it be 5-15 pounds greater than your last one, only attempt ONE PR per day. I’ll explain why later.
Oops, sorry, Miriam. Guess I should have done that, huh? ***picture me with my pompoms jumping up and down while Brian does double unders in a WOD*** I did actually take a pic of the nice bruise on his shin that he got from whipping himself with the rope, and I posted it to Facebook. Because I’m supportive like that.
LOL Tam! I *love* your warm and fuzzy wifely support of your husband’s accomplishments. I can hear you thinking “Pffft. It’s about freaking time, Brian. I mean, how long were you planning on continuing those wussy singles?” Anyway, I figured I’d give Brian his props. Sometimes it takes a village to support CFA families…especially yours, bwahaha.
