101203 Friday “Virtual Shoveling”

Getting ready for winter at CFA!

Strength/Skill Work Double unders: 5×1 minute at the top of every 3 minutes

WOD

30-25-20-15-10-5

Virtual shoveling

Push-ups

For time.

Saturday Class Times: Due to inconsistency of a 730am class and also with the winter weather upon us we will not be overlapping classes during the winter. We will hold classes at 8am and 9am on Saturdays as we did last week and until further notice. This will allow us to accommodate larger class sizes and stay warm!

This was an awesome WOD and my pecs, lats and obliques (probably the planks) are reminding me. I’m with Tom, “constantly varied”. It will also provide a good visual for when I’m really shoveling this winter.

I was thinking about the virtual shoveling post-workout. It’s probably more challenging to put the weight at the end of the bar, right? For example, a 30# bar with 15# plate on the end would be tougher than a 35# bar with 10# on the end, even though both add up to 45#. Thoughts?
