At CrossFit Asheville we like to encourage changes that individuals can maintain over long periods of time vs short time periods of radical changes that may not last. With that said, everyone is different and some may respond better to short periods of focus on all the factors contributing to a healthy lifestyle. We have a handful of individuals who have already signed up for the The Whole Life Challenge and this is an invite for anyone else who would like to participate….
The Whole Life Challenge is an 8-week online and in-your-life game you play with your friends and family that trains you to make choices in your health, fitness and lifestyle habits the way you train your body in the gym, using consistency, community, and fun. It will transform your relationship not only with health and fitness, but the actions that give you long-term success.
During the game, you will check in with all aspects of your practice of health and fitness. The moves are the choices you make every day — nutrition, exercise, sleep, relaxation, and more. All aspects of your health and fitness come into focus as you create a life in which your practice is how you live, not just things you do. You will create a lifestyle that involves your friends, family, and community!
As you play, you will begin to see how your score and daily choices match up with the results you are getting, simple as that. And you’ll be competing with your friends and community to see who can get the highest score! How fun is that?
Go to The Whole Life Challenge to see how you earn/lose points in this Game and if you decide to take on the Challenge be sure to do it with Team Asheville!
The Day One baseline workout will be held this Saturday, February 16 at CrossFit Asheville after group class at 9;30am.

Looking forward to tackling this challenge with the CFA community and support!
Can I do this in Johnson City, or do I need to physically be at CrossFit Asheville to participate? Is the Day One baseline workout going to be posted or is it part of the program when I sign up?
I believe the workout is 250m row, 15 kbs, 10 hi box step ups (without weight) 15 kbs 250 m row for time. You can do this workout or pick a favorite and use it at your baseline…just do the same one at the end!
