Upcoming Gymnastics Clinics with Shanna

Once baseline strength is establish proficiency with the gymnastics movements becomes about efficiency.  I love to refine movement with an emphasis to “work smarter not harder”.

The following clinics are open to any fitness or CrossFit enthusiast that meets the recommended levels of strength.

  • Standard kipping pull-ups  Saturday, July 6th Session 1 8:30-8:45am, Session 2 (as needed) 8:45-9am
    • Recommended prerequisite strength: 3 strict pull-ups

 

  • Kipping handstand push-ups  Saturday, July 13th Session 1 8:30-8:45am, Session 2 (as needed) 8:45-9am
    • Recommended prerequisite strength: 66% BW shoulder press

 

  • Butterfly kipping pull-ups Saturday, August 3rd Session 1 8:30-8:45am, Session 2 (as needed) 8:45-9am
    • Recommended prerequisite strength: 20 consecutive kipping pull-ups

 

  • Muscle-ups : Saturday, August 10th 8:30-8:50a
    • Recommended prerequisite strength: Weighted pull-up & weighted dip of ~33% BW

 

Cost: Clinics are by donation only with proceeds going to support the local Infant Swim Resource Scholarship Fund.
