Come on out and join coaches Zach and Becca for an Olympic Lifting Clinic!
The intention behind these clinics is teach technique in regards to the Olympic Lifts – the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. Form and technique over load will dictate. A true max in each lift may not be achieved but we hope to improve upon each person’s heavy single. Participants should walk away being more informed on the lifts that when they started and be able to demonstrate improved technique. The clinic is intended to be both informative and to be a solid workout so come prepared and be open to coaching feedback. Participants should have had exposure to the Front Squat, Backsquat, Power clean, Power Snatch, Squat Snatch, Overhead squat, Push press and Jerk.
- Ability to back squat bodyweight for 3 repititions
- Ability to deadlift 125% of body weight
- Ability to shoulder (strict) press 45% of body weight
- Ability to perform 1 strict pullup
