When did you start CrossFit?
I started Crossfit in 2012 at Crossfit Asheville. Been into athletics my entire life, played football, snowboarding and skiing.
I was initially skeptical when I started Crossfit 2012 but as time went on over the next few years the results that I achieved from a fully functional whole fitness program that built both strength and stamina are phenomenal. I have never been in better shape. Hard exercise…..Great Community and diet work!

When did you start CrossFit?
I'm originally from Liverpool, England and have been participating in CrossFit for over 10 years. Having started CrossFit later in life with the goal of getter fitter and healthier, I understand the challenges people face when beginning their fitness journey. I am passionate about helping people acquire new skills and to do what they once thought they could never do. CrossFit methodology works and the benefits are significant to one’s fitness and health.
Hobbies:
I am an avid supporter of Liverpool FC and take great pride in my hometown soccer team.

I originally hail from Kansas City, Missouri and enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. I serve the Asheville community as a firefighter, and own my own landscaping business, so I stay pretty busy.
Hobbies:
I've completed 7 marathons, including Boston, Chicago, and Kansas City. I also competed at the Spartan World Championship in Lake Tahoe along with several regional CrossFit competitions.
When did you start CrossFit?
I have 12 years of CrossFit experience, and 8 years as a coach.
Favorite Workout?
Murph, Annie, or any workouts with running components.

When did you start CrossFit?
I've been at CFA for 9 years. Before that I was a: runner, mountain biker, rower and a aerobic instructor.
Hobbies:
I like baking, the beach, and spending time with my son.
Favorite Workout?
Any workout w toes to bar, burpees or snatches.
I have been doing CrossFit style workouts since 2010 when I was in the U.S. Army in a Special Operations Unit. It wasn't until 2017 when I started consistently training with Olympic lifts and benchmark CrossFit workouts. I enjoy helping people become the best versions of themselves through fitness and balanced living.
Hobbies:
I love spending time with my son, Micah Jr., traveling, dancing, hiking, and creating fitness videos.

Outside of the gym, I'm a licensed professional engineer and worked 6 years as a firefighter for the city of Asheville. I also own and operate two gift shops in chimney rock village...busy guy, but always find time for the gym, a priority in my day to day life. I love coaching classes and helping/contributing to people doing things outside their comfort zone and watching the resulting growth in confidence.
Hobbies:
Obviously, CrossFit and the associated self torture is my hobby. Also, I'm an avid reader, father of a 6 year old and 17 year old, and love spending time on the lake with my family.

I'm originally from Asheville and have been involved in the local CrossFit community since I was 14.

When I'm not lifting heavy, you can usually find me shredding the trails or riding my motorcycle.

My favorite hobby outside the box is studying and learning. In addition to fitness-related study, other topics of interest include economics, anthropology, psychology, and memoirs written by from U.S. Military veterans in particular those concerning Special Forces training and missions.
